2 x Valiant AP5s for sale. Selling as a pair but may consider a split. Car 1. 1963 Valiant AP5 beige. Registered and driven on weekends. Reliable fun cruiser that needs no work to enjoy. 225 slant six. Runs smooth and doesn't blow smoke. 3 speed manual column shift. Very original condition. This car has the original number plates that it was sold with from new in 1963 in Bundaberg. Currently in Brisbane, this is the first time it has lived outside of a Bundy. These original plates will be sold with the car and can be registered with them. Currently on club reg with Special interest plates. Lots of original documentation and service history included also. Body is straight and gaps are very good. Has had a respray around 15 years ago and presents well although there are a few spots that could be tidied up. Really tidy original interior with no major tears or damage to the seats. 6 seats and no belts ever fitted. Legal to drive in Qld, not sure about other states. Headlining is good. Dash pad has a crack and the original vinyl floor is showing signs of its age. Vinyl floor in the boot is in fine condition and the original jack is in place. Pretty sure the original spare wheel has never been fitted. Tape player fitted and may even throw in a few 80s Aussie rock tapes. All the stainless trim and chrome bars is showing signs of pitting. The spare car has very good stainless and chrome bars though so swapping it out is an option. Original wheels and hubcaps. Car 2. 1963 Valiant AP5 yellow. Project car with lots of work already done. Body fair and will need a few rust repairs. Car is very straight and the gaps are good. Windows are very smooth to wind and the doors open and close nicely. Rebuilt slant six 225. Honed with new piston rings, new gaskets all round and a reconditioned head. Mild cam. Nicely painted blue with a wrinkle finish rocker cover. Heat proof silver powdercoated extractors. Reconditioned 3 speed manual box. Front end has been rebuilt with all new rubbers and bushes. All front end components have been blasted and painted black. Rear end has been rebuilt with all new rubber bushes. New wheel cylinders and pads all round. Chrome lsd diff with very low ks, came out of an 80s show car. New vinyl headlining fitted. Front and rear bars are in good condition. All stainless trim and door handles are also good. Jellybean mags will need a polish and tires replaced. Lots of spare parts go with the car. There is a lot of hard work already done but obviously more to do. Would be a great start for a cool cruiser although I'd be using some of the good parts from this to optimise car 1. All work done 2.5 years ago and has sat idle since. Other projects on the go getting in the way. 0450391558
