This is my VE val that has had a little restoration including engine and gearbox transplant from slant 6 and 3 spd column to 318 with 727, Ford EL V8 diff so discs all round, and a respray in bright white. Next up is hopefully an engine rebuild if the wife agrees.

VE Valiant before restoration
This is the val when i first got her as a slant six. I have since put in a reconditioned 318 with a 727. Have installed a shortened Ford EL V8 Fairmont diff so has discs all round.

Finaly back home
Finally got the Val back home after going overseas. Had a road trip from Brisbane to Adelaide with no problems at all. Just a little thirsty with the 318. Wasnt game enough to drive across the Nullabour wit no air-con so put it on the Indian Pacific to Perth. Now time for a good clean as a little dirty from the road trip.
