Hi All,
Had my Val for 6 good years and got plenty of attention from the older gents wherever it went. But there comes a time in every Vals life where the years start catching up with it. I was faced with a choice... Fix it or let it go. Being a mechanic, I decided to give the motor a re-fresh, but one thing lead to another and now the whole car is in pieces. Been that way since June 09. Sadly I found some serious rust in the LHF footwell that has gone right through into the chassis rail and some annoying rust in the plenum chamber. Once again I was faced with a choice... Fix it or let it go. I have come this far so I would like to see the job through, the only problem is me and welding don't get along. So in the end I am in need of a reputable panel beater.
Any recommendations would be appreciated. Please contact me at and keep another val on the road.
