Ride Articles

Project 1 (no particular order) :p
This vc wagon i bought off a fellow mm reader i must say this had one of the best straightest bodies I have ever seen.
All we did was rub her back and painted her dewalt blue with a white roof.
These photos do not do the car justice at all the colour is actually darker than it looks.
The custom interior is being done looks like its all white a big blue penatstar stitched on the back seat and inside tailgate.
Ill be dropping in a worked 318 with 904 and 3:23 lsd

Project 2
This is my VF VIP V8 with factory a/c and p/s which again i found on mm (pics to come i lost em hehe)

This was suppose to be a straight forward project (hmmm any such thing)
I bought it as a complete rolling shell minus engine and trans.
Interior was complete but needed a clean up.

Firstly i took the car to John at S.A Chassis to get the front end inspected $1550 later i have a new front and back end plus reconed steering box and power steering pump.

Thats fixed now the interior, I had the 2 front seats fully retrimmed in original black buffalo hyde material (dont asked me where he found it Im still stumped) Got the rips in the arm rests and door trims done plus retrimmed the crashpad.

Now the running gear

I bought a 318 and 904 from a vg 770 in sydney (good runner i thought) brought it to Adelaide and the plan was to replace all gaskets and give it a coat of paint and drop it in......yeah right.

6 months of sitting around i finally get the time to do something, i found rust and pitting had set through the engine
Talk about pissed off i thought a nice acid dip and hone out will fix but no not for me, TOTAL REBUILD.

The motor had now been fully reconed top to bottom thanks to the guys at John Moyle engineering and shes ready to drop in a start (cross fingers)

Project 4
Genuine VC V8 with black interior.

This i bought off a friend of mine who started restoring but unfortunately couldnt finish.

I want to restore this to factory original specs

It currently has a worked 318 but Im ripping out this running gear and putting the 273 back in.
