I bought my first Valiant when I was 16 back in 1978. I was very proud of it too, it was a VG regal & cost me $475! One of the previous owners had given it a matalic electric blue paint job, it had bucket seats & a speco floor shift. Absolutely no rust, how I wish I still had that car!
Since then I've had a VJ charger, two AP5's (a sedan & a wagon), a VJ sedan (which I worked on & enjoyed for many years), a CL sedan, a CM wagon (318) & a Centura but I seem to always enjoy the shape of my first car the best.
Late 2007 saw me get a VG again... I got it fron Sydney, in great condition all it needs is reg and a paint job but it is still a going project.
Then in June 08 I found a registered VG ute which is why resto on the sedan has slowed down a bit. She is a beautiful, flat black & chrome with a 5-speed Supra box, jelly-bean mags, pedders suspension & a well worked 265!
I love both my VG's, I know I should sell one to make more room but I'm stuffed if I can! Mopar or nocar right?

A VG VIP UTE! (Still under resto)
No such thing? Yeah, I know but this is as close as you'd get to one I reckon!
It runs a worked 265 with forged pistons, roller rockers, big cam (just under E49 spec) and a 600 holley.
All this is transfered to the back wheels thru a 5-speed Supra box.
Complete with Pedders suspension, Pacer dash, VIP front end, dark tint & a u-beaut stereo it is a pleasure to drive.

Still under resto but I'm havin' too much fun driving it at the mo'!
