I am restoring/building an VH Charger with the new generation Hemi 5.7 ltr (345cu) with twin GT40R turbos. The setup will flow upto 1400hp, I am looking at 1000 - 1200hp. Vehicle currently has mini tubs, roll cage, rack and pinion and engine mounts are currently being fabricated.

300mm rotors from Hopper Stoppers have been installed with 17 x 8 Simmons for the front and 17 x 10 Simmons with 315 mm rubber for the rear. Pro Star rims have been ordered, 15 x 4 for the front and 15 x 12 x 29 for the rear.

VH Charger
Hi all,

as you can see 5.7ltr Hemi has now been installed into the Chargers engine bay. Custom manifold will now be fabricated.
the motor has been fitted with an empty 727 Torqueflite tansmission which Ray Webb jnr has lent me. Originally I was going to mate Hemi with an A518 tranny but will now put that aside.

727 will be built in Canada to handle in excess of 1000hp and torque. It will have billet internals. It worked out to be too costly to have one built here.

Hello again. Its been a while since I have updated my details on my VH Charger project. As you can see the 4 link has now been fitted. I'm now waiting for the tailshaft to be fitted and some new sheet metal to replace the gaping hole in the floor.

727 is nearly complete and will soon be residing behind the Hemi.

As you can see the gaping hole has been filled in and the rollcage has also been completed. There will be no rear seat as per engineers instrauctions and Recaro's have been fitted.

As you can see exhaust headers are being fabricated.

Hopefully it wont be long now. The world's most famous cliche.
